✦ Character Summary:
Sylvarith Valmyrr is a high-born dark elf of the Eldergloom Forest — a region where sunlight barely touches the ground and ancient spirits whisper through twisted roots.
Unlike other dark elves who command shadow or poison, Sylvarith forged a pact with something far older.
Her weapon, “Vermyrr, the Devouring Bloom,” is not merely forged metal — it is a parasitic forest entity sealed within blade form. In its dormant state, the weapon resembles a jagged, organic greatblade with a single watchful eye embedded near the hilt.
This is its Normal Mode.
In battle, each strike allows Vermyrr to absorb blood through microscopic thorn-like veins along its edge. The more it drinks, the more its true form begins to surface.
When enough blood has been claimed, the weapon enters: 🔥 Awakening Mode — “Predator of the Red Canopy”
The blade splits open like a monstrous jaw.
The embedded eye widens.
Teeth form along the edge.
The weapon becomes partially alive.
In this state:
Attacks extend further like a lunging beast.
Bite-like cleaving arcs tear through enemies.
Regenerative pulses flow back into Sylvarith.
The blade may act semi-independently, snapping at nearby foes.
However, the awakening does not come without risk.
If overfed, Vermyrr may attempt to override Sylvarith’s will.
And she knows this.
That is why she never smiles in battle.
She listens.
