Saika Renari was once a shrine maiden of the Verdant Nexus, trained to commune with the spirits of flora and fauna. When the great corruption spread through the forests, she offered her soul to the ancient entity Hana-no-Kami, becoming its vessel of balance — neither fully alive nor dead.
