✦ Character Summary
ABY-07 “Nyra” is the seventh experimental subject created under the classified ABY Project — Abyssal Bioform Unit Program, a research initiative designed to engineer lifeforms capable of surviving and operating within the deepest regions of the ocean.
The project’s objective was ambitious:
create a living organism capable of enduring immense water pressure, limited oxygen, and hostile underwater environments while maintaining combat efficiency.
The early attempts did not survive.
ABY-01 through ABY-06 suffered from structural instability, organ failure, or uncontrollable biological mutations.
Each prototype was ultimately terminated.
Nyra was different.
Her body was engineered with specialized internal systems that dramatically reduce oxygen consumption, allowing her to hold her breath for extended periods and operate underwater far longer than any natural organism.
Her physiology adapts to deep-sea pressure, enabling her to move through the ocean depths with ease.
To complement her biological capabilities, the researchers integrated a combat platform directly into her body: the Mecharm Control System.
Two articulated mechanical limbs extend from a compact reactor mounted behind her shoulders, functioning as both manipulators and weapons. A segmented mechanical servo-tail provides propulsion, balance, and additional striking capability in aquatic environments.
In Normal Mode, these systems operate with precise coordination, assisting Nyra in exploration, construction tasks, and defensive maneuvers.
Their movements are fluid and controlled — almost like extensions of her own body.
Yet Nyra was never meant to remain a research specimen.
She was designed as a combat organism for extreme environments.
